The aftermovie, the format events revolve around
The aftermovies made within my school's audiovisual production association taught me one thing: what makes a good aftermovie isn't the number of shots, it's the pacing. Three well-edited minutes beat ten exhaustive ones nobody watches to the end.
The edit follows the arc of the evening rather than strict chronology: arrival, build-up, peak, wind-down. Vertical formats for social media can be delivered alongside the main cut, which considerably extends the event's life online.
